ELA Update

We just wrapped up our Truth unit in ELA, and I was so impressed with what they learned! Students wrote research reports analyzing the importance of truth in the media. Their essays covered a wide range of topics, from the rapid spread of false news to the impact that the media had on the election. The students learned a lot about evaluating sources and how to be critical consumers of the news. This poem written by a student sums up the unit nicely:
