Social Studies Update

We have wrapped up Rome and are moving into the Byzantine Empire.  In this unit, we look at what people really need from their governments and how economic issues can make or break a civilization.  

In saying goodbye to the Western Roman Empire, students wrote odes to what made Rome great and what eventually led to its fall.  See below for a student example!
